To my best friend who is about to graduate

I guess you may want to practise your chinese ,so i will write in chinese first.I will re-write it in english later so i can practise my english as well:P

老兄，
别着急。人人都有临近毕业，面临选择的那段时期。不同的是，你要搬到一个完全陌生的城市，和一群讲着陌生的语言，有着不同肤色的人生活在一起。

庆幸的是，你已经找到了一份薪水不错的工作，你有了一位爱你的男友-虽然这就是你在香港所拥有的全部。我想问你一个问题：如果你继续留在加拿大或者美国，你能找到一份更好的工作吗？我记得你说过，你想当一名外交官。我的意思是，你能够找到一份能朝着那个方向努力的工作吗？或者，作为一名曾经的校报专栏作者，你能继续自己的事业吗？

如果，你是不顾一切，仅仅是为了和男友在一起而放弃了自己的写作事业来到中国；而又为了能在香港生存赚钱而当了一名英文教师，那么，我替你感到不安。但是，如果你真的爱着中国，你喜爱中文，你也喜欢教小朋友学英语，那么有什么理由不开心呢？你的男友也许对你们的将来没有太多的计划，你自己却不能糊里糊涂的生活。你要知道，作为男人，事业成功所带来的快乐永远比其乐融融的家庭生活能给予你的要多得多。

我是个很容易情绪低落的人，冷静下来的时候，我会想一些事。这种性格也许不完全是坏事-我能有机会想想自己走的路，想想朋友，想想家人。我希望你不会觉得我在烦你-我能理解你现在处在十字路口时候的那种患得患失。只是，你的家人离你很远，你的朋友也纷纷毕业，你需要一只手来推你一把，把你推上正路。我希望我有时候能成为那只手。真的希望。:)

Okay.I don't want to translate word by word,it will make me feel like i'm still at work.But i will keep my point the same.

Dear puppy,
Just chill out (as you told me).Everyone has to face this kind of things some day.The only difference is,you will move to a city full of strangers who speak a totally different language.

But,hey,you have found a job there,and you've got a great boyfriend who loves you a lot.Lucky you!I need to ask you something: If you live in Canada or the states after graduation,will you be able to find a good job? I remember you once told me that becoming a diplomat(is it properly used here?:S) is your dream.Will you have a chance to work towards that way?Or,since i know you are a good writer,will you be able to find a job as a writer? I mean,can you find a job that you LOVE and make you learn a lot from it.

If,you come to HongKong just to stay with your boyfriend,and in order to survive ,you find a job which you are not interested in just to owe enough money--i would feel sorry for you.But,if you really love the country China,and you love learning chinese,and you love teaching young kids english--why are you upset anyways??Your boyfriend may not have a plan for the future of you two,you need to have a plan in your mind.As a man,to win success from your work always brings you much more joy than to have a happy family,at least i believe so.

SO,cheer up,my little puppy.HongKong is a BIG city,and China is a CROWDED country.Newfoundland may be a nice place where you and your skate friends hang around,but hey,come to China!Let me have a chance to show you a different world.Let him have a chance to show the reason why you love him this much,and make him prove it is worth for you to move across the world just to live next door to him!!~!!

p.s. I love you too.Do not forget to practise Chinese in HongKong,cause people there do speak Niao Yu:P
